A flange is a demountable joint in a pipeline — where a section must later be opened, serviced or replaced, a flanged joint is more practical than a welded one. Neck flanges transfer load gradually and are used at higher pressures, flat flanges are the more economical solution for milder conditions, and blind flanges close a pipe end or prepare it for later extension. PEZOS stocks flanges to DIN standards and ASTM A105 in several pressure ratings, with inspection documentation. Alongside individual flanges we supply complete flange sets with gaskets and bolting, because in practice it is precisely the gasket and bolts that are most often forgotten when ordering and end up holding up installation.
