Valves are where a pipeline is actually controlled: they stop flow, allow it in one direction only, or isolate part of an installation for servicing. Ball valves are used where fast, reliable full shut-off is needed, gate and flat gate valves at larger diameters, straight shut-off valves for regulation, and straight check (non-return) valves prevent backflow towards a pump or source. Strainers protect pumps, meters and valves from particles in the medium and extend the life of the whole system. PEZOS stocks valves for water and gas in flanged and threaded execution, in PN6, PN16 and PN40 pressure ratings, including flanged ball valves and butterfly-handle versions.
